8. In 2015, 1 in 10 Dutchess County residents was receiving services from DCFS. What can the County do in order to improve upon what Family Services provides for those who rely on these services?

Focus on creating job opportunities by investing money to increase the economic development in the Hudson Valley. In addition we must concentrate on keeping taxes low in order to draw business into our county.
Continue to invest money into agriculture. Our County budget contained $1.7 million of which a portion will be invested in agriculture. To insure programs are being implemented an Agricultural Advisory was formed about 2 years ago.
Work closely with residents to insure proper routes are available.
Support the Stabilization Center, continue training, insure drug task force is in place.
