to continue great quality of life for our citizens; -low taxes -excellent public safety -great parks and recreation -low crime rate -peaceful co existence -affordable cost of living -racial harmony -traffic management
former mayor pro tem chair sc manufactured housing board 1980-1988 vice chair Dorchester county school board chairman public safety committee Town of Summerville businessman
-traffic management -growth management -affordable housing -redevelopment of low moderate income areas -redevelopment of national guard armory to provide a large venue for events -completing the berlin myers parkway -preserving the downtown historic district
-I would push for the town of Summerville to implement the natural disaster guidelines as set forth by the federal and state governments
the town of Summerville during my tenure have developed fiscal conservative budgets that allow for providing the best public services by our departments and yet fulfilling the mandated needs of our citizens I would continue on this path
we have a bicycle committee that works on these issues. I would continue to follow their recommendations . I personally support more bicycle lanes as a low-cost way to reduce traffic
I would favor limiting the public comments to 2 minutes at our town council meetings and allowing only 1 speaker on the same topic to represent a group I believe that council can learn from public comments even on items not on the agenda I favor strict rules of behavior on debates and public discourse otherwise
