1. Keeping taxes down-The 3 budgets I oversaw as finance chairperson-2 years (2014 and 2016) resulted in no tax increases and one year (2015) resulted in a 1.4% increase.

2. Reduce pension obligations- As pension committee chairperson we changed advisors (2016) saving approximately $50,000 in annual fees.

3. Make Swarthmore even more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
If elected, I will build relationships with local organizations and businesses to support a vibrant downtown, work to ensure that seniors may age in place in Swarthmore, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement plans to keep pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists safe on streets and sidewalks in the borough.

Since my election to Borough Council in 2014, I have served as liaison to the Environmental Advisory Committee, as well as on Public Works and Parks, and on Planning and Zoning. In all three roles I have worked to listen to the needs of the stakeholders, and to make fair and transparent decisions. My top three priorities are to preserve open and common spaces, to support the vitality of downtown Swarthmore, and to increase public engagement.
