What do you consider the most important challenge(s) facing Morris County and how do you plan to address it/them?

What in your personal and/or professional experience prepares you for this office?

PROTECTING PROPERTY VALUES The residents of Morris County continue to struggle with sliding property values due to congested roadways, environmental degradation, and poor public services.

CLEARER DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES We deserve better decision-making and transparency in government than the current Board of Chosen Freeholders permits. With exceptional schools, beautiful parks, and safe communities, there is a lot resting in the hands of a Board that has been totally under the control of one party for over 40 years.

PUT AN EDUCATOR ON THE BOARD Dr. Rozella G. Clyde has the administrative experience and creative mind needed to keep Morris County moving in the right direction. We can control property taxes through teamwork and innovative solutions, working together with local municipal governments to guide the development of a comprehensive and sustainable county-wide strategic plan.
Dr. Rozella G. Clyde is a Progressive Democrat seeking to break the single-party strangle-hold on the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Dr. Clyde is a life-long educator, with over 40 years of classroom and administrative experience. She is an award-winning grant-writer who holds a PhD in Instructional Design for Online Learning. Dr. Clyde is a strong environmentalist, who seeks to improve Morris County's infrastructure, enhance educational opportunities, and work with local municipalities to develop their central business districts, support tourism and small business development.
