The most important issues facing Mamaroneck is land use and zoning. Zoning was enacted to protect residents and neighborhoods and not to enrich and empower developers. I think having a thoughtful, open and transparent land use process will help to restore public confidence that the Village government is working to protect their interests. I will conduct meetings in a courteous and professional manner and listen to all residents concerns before decisions are made regarding zoning matters.
I grew up in an affordable housing development in NYC. I know first hand how living in a safe, clean and affordable home can have a positive impact on a families future. Have a safe secure environment to grow, study and feel secure is essential to a child's success in life. Mamaroneck has been a leader in building affordable housing. I was proud to serve on the Washingtonville Housing Alliance and had a part in seeing projects to completion. I completely support building more affordable homes
