Logan County Measure No. 1 - Appointment of State's Attorney Choose 1
The Logan County State's Attorney position has gone unfilled via election, and the Logan County Commission wishes to convert the position to appointed rather than elected. Accordingly, to allow the Logan County Commission to select the best candidate through competitive hiring practices to act as the Logan County State's Attorney, should the position be changed from an elected office to an appointed office as allowed under N.D.C.C § 11-10-02.3? If the voters approve this change, the Logan County State's Attorney would be appointed by the Logan County Commission through competitive hiring.
