What are your top priorities?
Funding for local schools, small towns, townships and counties.
How would you ensure that North Dakotans’ healthcare costs are affordable?
Costs need to be more transparent so we can make clear choices, and know what we are paying for, and if all charges were justified. We need to save our regional health care facilities, so travel isn't an added expense.
How would you address the housing needs of the state?
Expand infrastructure in communities, vocational programs to train and increase the workforce.
What is your position on allowing public funds to be directed to non-public education?
Public funds need to be used for public schools, as intended.
What are your views on the current voting methods and access to voting in North Dakota?
I think North Dakota's voting methods have worked well for years and can continue as they are. Making sure our state IDs are available for such as Native Americans and non-drivers when they are needed is a good practice.
What is the role of the federal government regarding states’ rights, and are there currently any areas where you believe there is an imbalance?
Our constitution guarantees states' rights, and we shouldn't be picking and choosing some to be ignored or overruled. We need to fight for our states rights.
