Lower Taxes.
Pro Life and workforce.
Energy development, distribution and export.
Value-added agriculture and research and development.
K-12 and Higher Education .
How would you ensure that North Dakotans’ healthcare costs are affordable?
Enhance rural healthcare facilities and staffing.
Support education of more North Dakotans in healthcare fields.
Pass efficient legislation for ND and reduce Federal overreach.
How would you address the housing needs of the state?
Facilitate efficient local governance on planning, zoning, building permits, special assessments and incentives.
Let capitalism work at the city and county level by reducing obstacles and roadblocks.
What is your position on allowing public funds to be directed to non-public education?
I favor this. Let the money follow the student (parent involvement of course). In Florida, some school districts pay for students attending non-public school as it is more cost effective than building new public schools.
What are your views on the current voting methods and access to voting in North Dakota?
Current methods are adequate, however I favor more in-person voting locations where local citizens are willing to staff the more accessible, more numerous voting sites.
What is the role of the federal government regarding states’ rights, and are there currently any areas where you believe there is an imbalance?
Federal Government overreach should be reduced wherever possible. Waters of the US is an example. Some Environmental Protection Agency policies are also detrimental.
