One of the most pressing challenges facing New Jersey is the need for ethics reform. There are so many layers to government, boards, and commissions throughout the state, and we have not always been vigilant to make sure appointees to these roles do not hold conflicts of interest. This also affects affordability in New Jersey, which is also a top issue. I plan to address ethics reform by imposing more strict rules for those who serve in various public capacities, so that residents can be better assured that these individuals truly are there to represent their best interests, rather than corporate or insider interests. This will have a transferable effect on affordability.

First, I support reversing the harms that have been done in regards to the Election Transparency Act, which really did not make election fundraising more transparent at all. Additionally, I support reversing the harms that have been done to accessing public records. Third, I support a new ballot design bill that ensures fairness for county party committee elections, and to end bracketing in races for the same branch of government. Last, although this has not yet become law, I would support reversing the harms that the ACLU notes regarding the “public brawl” legislation. We cannot risk any infringement on speech or the right to protest, especially these days.

Over the past ~15 years New Jersey’s economic legislative strategy has been incredibly top heavy in finding ways to support corporations through tax credit deals and other forms of public funding. I plan to initiate a focus on small and mid-sized businesses that are already embedded within communities. Additionally, I am very supportive of public sector workers. With education alone, New Jersey’s entire economy can and should be strengthened by a more complete and concrete commitment to funding PreK-12, and, Higher Education institutions. Especially with the uncertainty we face from the federal regime, expanding state and local employment through a commitment to educational founding funding will help our students, the missions of our colleges and universities, and this will also guarantee employment for entire fiscal years during very uncertain economic times.

The entire system and methods for funding PreK-12 as well as public higher education must be envisioned differently. For the sake of the teachers, staff, parents, and students, we cannot continue to have annual battles over the reshuffling of funds. Just like economists are now saying that businesses cannot grow without consistent economic policy, the same goes for public education. All districts must become fully-funded so that all supplies are available, all buildings are cared for, and all teachers and staff are paid fair living wages. For higher education, as a state, we must be forward thinking to anticipate a large and profound funding need given federal cuts and behavior. I will also take steps toward ensuring that public colleges and universities in New Jersey begin a solidified path to becoming tuition-free through progressive approaches to budgeting and investment.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and when it comes to immigration, I lean on that body of knowledge to envision and support properly funded departments and systems that provide good and dear people with expedited paths to citizenship. If we truly commit to streamlining this process, New Jersey and the nation may have the chance to at last move beyond the policies of cruelty, of deportation out of fear, the destructive practice of breaking families apart. If we truly commit ourselves to the valid humanity of others, we will recognize that so much of the ongoing immigration issues in America are due to underfunded and back-logged departments and systems, when all we really need to do is expedite some paperwork for fair, good, and dear people. I saw how New Jersey opened up vaccination clinics in vacant malls during COVID. It was a seamless operation that provided a service to a large group of people over a short period of time. Pathways to citizenship are possible!

In 2025, New Jersey’s most pressing challenges include housing affordability, access to quality healthcare, and the growth and sustainability of small businesses. My campaign addresses these with bold, people-centered solutions. Your Way Home – Housing For All will tackle the housing crisis by expanding access to affordable rentals, increasing homeownership opportunities, and advancing smart, sustainable development. Living Your Best Life – Healthcare at Its Finest focuses on making healthcare accessible and affordable for all, including expanding mental health care, investing in telehealth, and addressing systemic inequities in our healthcare system. Small Business, Big Impact is about giving local entrepreneurs the tools, funding, and resources they need to grow and create jobs. Small businesses are the engine of our economy, and when they thrive, our communities thrive. Through these three pillars, we can build a New Jersey that works for everyone.

I support reforms that make New Jersey’s democracy more inclusive, transparent, and accountable. Your Voice, Your Power is more than a slogan—it’s a commitment to give power back to the people. That means expanding voting access with same-day registration, extended early voting, and outreach to underrepresented communities. I support campaign finance reform to reduce the influence of big money and increase transparency. We must ensure accessibility for seniors, people with disabilities, and non-English speakers so everyone can fully participate. I also believe in participatory governance that allows residents to help shape budgets and policies. To restore trust in government, I support implementing term limits for elected officials, ensuring fresh leadership and reducing entrenched power. Lastly, we must protect fair redistricting and end gerrymandering that weakens voter impact. A stronger democracy starts with putting people first.

Strengthening New Jersey’s economy requires bold leadership and a commitment to creating opportunity for everyone. My focus is on building an economy that works from the ground up by supporting small businesses, expanding access to stable housing, and ensuring our workforce is healthy and prepared for the future. We must create an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive, where families can build wealth through homeownership, and where quality healthcare is accessible so people can live and work with dignity. I will champion policies that attract investment, spark innovation, and uplift communities across the state. A strong economy means more than numbers—it means good jobs, vibrant neighborhoods, and a better quality of life for all New Jerseyans. Together, we can create a future where success is within reach for everyone.

As someone who homeschooled my grandchildren and son during COVID, I had a front-row seat to what’s happening in our classrooms. I witnessed both the passion of our educators and the urgent need for better resources and stronger support. While the current presidential administration pushes to eliminate the Department of Education, I believe we must double down on ensuring equitable funding for public education across New Jersey. That means every child, regardless of their zip code has access to quality instruction, modern learning tools, and opportunities to grow and reach their full potential. I support expanded early childhood education, mental health services in schools, and fair compensation for teachers. Public education is the foundation of our future, and Your Voice, Your Power means fighting for a system that uplifts all students, supports our educators, and prioritizes equity in every classroom.

I believe that every person should be treated with dignity and respect. Regardless of your citizenship status, race, or ethnicity, you are a human first. I support humane immigration policies rooted in compassion and fairness. Immigrants are essential to New Jersey’s communities and economy. I support clear pathways to citizenship, protections for DACA recipients, and access to education, healthcare, and housing, because basic rights shouldn't depend on documentation. I also believe we have the power to create real immigration policies that move people’s lives forward. We can no longer toy with people’s futures—we must create real solutions, period. It’s time to stop criminalizing families and start recognizing the humanity in every individual. Your Voice, Your Power means building an inclusive New Jersey where everyone has a fair shot at living with dignity and opportunity.

Affordability is the most pressing challenge facing New Jersey families. Rising costs—from property taxes and utility bills to groceries, healthcare, and tuition—are squeezing household budgets across the state.

As a state legislator, I've prioritized easing the financial burden on homeowners, renters, and retirees. I've worked to lower utility costs and help keep prescription drug prices in check.

This year, I introduced legislation to limit lot rent increases for mobile home residents to 3% and sponsored bills to cut energy costs by capping utility rate increases at 2%, expanding access to clean energy, and implementing cooperative purchasing for municipalities. I also strongly support continued funding for property tax relief programs like Senior Freeze, StayNJ, and ANCHOR.

We must continue working to lower government costs, foster a healthy environment for economic growth, and ensure more of our dollars stay in our communities to fund roads and services.

Improving our democracy starts with protecting our electoral systems and making it easier for every eligible voter to participate. At the state level, we must enhance voter education, expand early voting, and invest in secure, modern election infrastructure. Voters deserve a process that is transparent, secure, and worthy of their trust. In the Assembly, I will continue to champion common-sense reforms that increase participation and restore confidence in our elections—because a stronger democracy begins with fair and accessible elections for all.

This year, I introduced bills to cut energy costs by capping utility rate increases at 2%, expanding access to clean energy, and implementing cooperative purchasing for municipalities. I am also sponsoring a bill to cap annual tuition increases at 2% for our state's public two-year and four-year institutions and co-sponsoring legislation to limit lot rent increases for mobile home residents to 3%. Continued funding for programs like Senior Freeze, StayNJ, and ANCHOR is essential to alleviating the property tax burden. We must also continue to work to lower government costs while ensuring residents receive high-quality services

I support a fair funding formula that allocates resources based on student needs, including special education and mental health services. Investing in pre-K is essential to give our youngest learners a strong foundation for success.

State funding for higher education has remained flat for over a decade. We must increase funding to ensure financially vulnerable students aren't left behind and expand access to trade schools and workforce development programs.

I prioritize public education in the Assembly and serve on the Higher Education Committee. I will continue advocating for policies that ensure New Jersey leads in providing high-quality, affordable public education for all students, regardless of zip code.

For too long, both parties in Washington have failed to deliver on comprehensive immigration reform. We need secure borders, fair laws, and a legal immigration process that actually works.

As a state legislator, I’m focused on practical, local solutions here. That means ensuring every resident feels safe reporting crimes, protecting workers from exploitation, and supporting pathways to legal status for those who contribute to our communities and economy.

We must uphold due process and hold violent offenders accountable—while rejecting the harmful politicization of immigration. Our policies should reflect our core values: security, compassion, and economic common sense.
