What skills and experience do you bring to school board service?
I have been involved with the parent group serving as vice president for 3 years. I have been serving as a treasurer for First Steps Center for Autism for about 10 months.
What is your understanding of the District’s obligations to comply with federal and state education policies?
I have been attending all school board meetings for the last year. I know there are many things that the cannot do, and things they just do to comply with poicies put into place by the osba.
How would you address the issues facing the District’s schools that you consider the most urgent?
I think the two biggest issues plaguing our district is the lack of staff support, and the lack of safety for the students. Two things I would work hard to help fix
