My goal in seeking re-election is to keep the Town moving forward/improving as we have for the last two years. My priorities to accomplish this are: 1) Continue our practice of absolute transparency, communication, and listening to our residents, something that our residents have stated is a welcome change; 2) Continued focus on road and infrastructure improvements; 3) Focus on/make sure our town's natural resources (our lake, etc.) are protected for generations to come, while also preserving the fun and enjoyment that they provide today; 4) Providing our community with the best/most cost effective Fire/EMS services ; 5) Continued focus on providing excellent emergency management services during potential disasters and extreme weather.

This is a significant issue within our Town and one that I take very seriously. I very much believe in the "Let's All Get Along" philosophy and that we are all better off if we are working together for the good of the community. To work towards this I will: 1) Continue focus on community first, including improved working relationships with the town and the village. 2) Stay open-minded on issues, listen to all voices and be respectful to all sides of each issue; 3) Where disagreements exist, support and moderate meetings where both sides are free to express their thoughts, work towards compromises and always push for cooperation; 4) Be transparent and explain in detail why the board makes each decision we make; 5) Always follow the laws.

Two main social service issues are facing our community for 2025/26, our Fire/EMS service and our continued road/infrastructure improvements. 1) For the upcoming contract negotiations for our Fire and EMS services, our we will negotiate the best Fire/EMS service at the most efficient cost possible. We will look at both our current provider/potential alternatives for services, both for 2025/26 and for the next 5 to 10 years to make sure that these services are sustainable for our community. We will review multiple cost alternatives/services provided in order to make the best choice for the community. 2) In 2024/25, the current board made significant improvements to the roads/infrastructures. We will continue to push improvement initiatives.

Operate within a balanced budget. Oppose borrowing money for discretionary spending. Establish a 5-member Town Board. Manage responsible tree maintenance. Support a No-wake ordinance for Palmyra Blue Spring Lake Seek bids for large projects. Explore solutions and research alternatives for town issues. Reach out to people with experience. Promote clarity and understanding. Support Airport prosperity.

Listen to constituents. See how others view problems. Exchange ideas. Ask questions. Generate understanding. Seek constructive solutions, alternatives. Promote clarity.

Our most pressing issue is Fire and EMS protection for our town. The cost has risen from $220,000 in 2023 to $250,000 for 2025. There is a need to find sustainable and effective solutions.
