I worked 34 years in the oil industry in engineering, operations and supervisory roles. These assignments required a high level of leadership, communication and project management skills. My assignments also included: i. Two years working in a contracts group bidding, evaluating and managing multi-million dollar well construction contracts. i. Three years on a Performance Management Team to identify best practices and performance gaps. I was the North Bend High School Boys Tennis Coach for four seasons from 2017-2020.

What is your understanding of the District’s obligations to comply with federal and state education policies?

The North Bend School District is required to comply with the State of Oregon education policies. If the State of Oregon does not comply with Federal education policies, this could result in a loss of Federal funding for our students.

The Board developed two goals for the incoming Superintendent in August 2023: 1. Academic Achievement (Focus on basics of Reading, Writing and Math) i.
