Your Experience/Qualifications
I'm a 7th generation Oregonian, born and raised in the Rogue Valley. I helped raise 13 kids as a foster mom, and now have three kids through birth and adoption. I have 15 years’ experience working for large travel brands, negotiating and managing highly successful multi-million-dollar partnerships. I have to be an effective listener, resolve conflict, drive collaboration, and stay focused on achieving goals, even through conflict. I'll use these skills to move our school board forward.

What skills and experience do you bring to school board service?
I bring years of experience advocating for children and families at the local and state level. I’ve led parent councils, served on education advisory committees, and worked alongside legislators, educators and community leaders to improve outcomes for kids. I am currently the President of the Oregon Child Development Coalition Parent Council. In Colorado, I served a 3-year term as Vice Chair, Aurora City Council Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. I also served as an Arapahoe County Election Judge and Supervising Election Judge.
What is your understanding of the District’s obligations to comply with federal and state education policies?
The board is the policy making body for the district. As state and federal policies come down, the board helps to interpret and implement polices that guide the practices carried out by the superintendent.
How would you address the issues facing the District’s schools that you consider the most urgent?
Common sense and collaboration.
The board must listen, communicate transparently, and always put students first. I’ll bring people together, build trust, hold the district accountable, and use resources wisely to support our schools. Medford families deserve a school board that works for them—not one distracted by personal conflicts.
Academics, not agendas.
Schools must focus on core subjects, critical thinking, and preparing for the future. Classrooms are for academics. Families, not the school board, should guide core values. I’m not here to champion one issue; I’m here to serve students, families, educators, and staff so schools can deliver results that matter.
