40 + years involvement with youth sports as a parent, coach and administrator. Additionally, I have 35+ years as an HVAC/Mechanical conctract and I advise the current local MACRD administration on maintenance and cost saving ideas for the pool operations

What skills and experience would you bring to this position?
I have 35+ years as an HVAC/Mechanical contracting and I advise the current local MACRD administration on maintenance and cost saving ideas for the pool operations. I also have 40 years of involvement with youth sports, both aquatic and land based.
Do you think there are ways the District’s facilities could generate revenue that are not currently being explored—and if so, what are they?
The district has plans to increase facility times as well as land based programs and is well represented. the issue is operating capital, which we are working towards getting stable funding for the district.
What are the most pressing needs for the District that you would like to address?
building maintenance is top priority. the existing mechanical systems are about to age out. pool liners will need to be replaced soon and locker and restrooms need a freshening.
