Why are you running for the State Legislature?
I have served in the State Legislature since 2010 and believe that there is still much yet to do in regards to education, healthcare, and continuing to be the model for the nation in fiscal policy.

If elected, what are the top 3 things you would do to reduce gun related deaths in Tennessee?
The three things I have supported that we just passed in the TN General Assembly this year are a great start. Blended Sentencing for Juvenile offenders, mandated mental health services for those mentally ill who have been deemed incompetent to stand trial for offenses, increase the age whereby a juvenile when adjudicated deliquent of a crime can purchase at 25 instead of 18 years of age.
