Why are you running for Congress?
I believe in civil rights, human rights, democracy, and freedom. The incumbent has lost his way and no longer represents the people of West TN. I want to bring integrity and sanity back to the political discourse and Congress. I support reproductive and contraceptive rights, working families, LGBTQ+ rights, protecting our environment, federal funding for healthcare and public schools, supporting our military and veterans, and preserving democracy and supporting NATO and our allies, and saving SS.
What do you think are the top 5 issues facing the United States at this time, that can be addressed by Congress?
Saving and protecting our democratic institutions, including our public schools!
Codifying Roe (passing the ERA)
Supporting NATO and Ukraine
Protecting human rights and freedoms
Improving the economy (sunset the Trump tax give-away)
If elected, what are the top 3 things you would do to reduce gun related deaths in the United States?
1.) Ban assault weapons
2.) Close gun sale loopholes by requiring background checks and wait period
3.) Instate strict federal laws that prohibit certain classes of dangerous criminals and domestic violence offenders from owning guns
