1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

When I was 5 years old, my dad caught me in a lie and said this: "The Only thing worse than a liar is a Rattlesnake", That lesson taught me to make sure I had all the facts before I make a decision. I worked hard to make sure I had done my best to Think before I made a decision. I am also willing to admit I am wrong. There are many of the 105 Legislators in Idaho who justify their vote on false narratives based on personal beliefs and not facts. I have watched Idaho in Session for the last 5 years, I learned a lot about some of the legislators, thanks to the repeal of 8 year term limits in 2002, have been in the same seat of 105 for as long as 26 years, deciding where $13 Billion is spent. A 94 day legislature is too long. Utah is 45 days.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

I was born in Pocatello, at age 9 I joined my father, an Air Force Sergeant (NCO) in Illinois. Like all military families, we went where the Air Force sent my dad. I attended different schools in 6 different communities, Idaho, Illinois, Georgia, and the Panama Canal Zone. I enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from High School. Upon discharge, I returned to Pocatello and was hired by IBM as a Field Engineer, moving to Minnesota, Los Angeles, and Utah, retiring after 32 years. I was hired by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a Financial Advisor, retired at 13 years. Military discipline, IBM executive experience, and knowledge of financial products. IBM and Thrivent each are recognized as one of 135 most ethical companies Worldwide.

3. What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

Citizen United has created a Legal Bribery election system. In 2022, Corporate Lobbies/PACs inside and outside Idaho donated $64 million to 1,400 candidates. I watched 100's of people testify against or for a bill and the committees vote opposite with the corporate lobby. Texas and Idaho are hitched at the waist, the Abortion, $250 library bounty, targeting a 1% minority transgender, and LGTBQ do not originate in Idaho. Utah has a 45 day session and a $33 Billion budget and Idaho has a $13 budget with a 94 day legislative session. Too many trailer bills, and ALEC bills in those extra 49 days. Turning down $16 million Federal funds for low income kid's lunches. There is too much anti United States John Birch Society Ideologues in Idaho.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy. Please explain your response.

Absolutely. Life is precious, we lost our first baby at 7 and half months. The good lord blessed us with twins a year later, then another, 3 toddlers in diapers after 4 years of marriage. Texas is a conduit to Idaho with the draconian removal of a woman's reproductive rights with false narratives. Factors:6% of men and women are infertile, 25% of married women are infertile. After the age of 30 the opportunity to have a child drops to 10% at age 40. Working women sometimes wait too long and the only option is adoption. There are plenty of brown skinned babies available, but the pool of blond hair and blue-eyed babies are less. Another factor is the white race will be a minority in 2045. 22% of OG-BYN doctors have left Idaho. It's not Right.

5. What else would you like to tell the voters?

My uncle was on the City Council of Alameda in the 1960's with Mayor George Hansen. In 1966 I was looking for a job after the Air Force and my uncle, a UPRR brakeman, kept me up to early morning hours telling me how corrupt George Hansen was. He told me a story the single bid of $10,000 for a pump house in Alameda Park. He bid $1,500 and made money. Last year I visited the park and the building my uncle built is still in use 63 years later. Hansen later on was found guilty of using $350,000 campaign funds for his personal use. Later duping 2 banks and 100 investors of $30 million. Politics has inside information that can increase a person's wealth. Idaho is one of 2 States that does Not compel our elected to disclose assets.
