PLUMMER-WORLEY JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 44 Benewah and Kootenai Counties, IdahoSUPPLEMENTAL LEVY ELECTIONRESOLUTION NO. 2024-02Whereas, in accordance with Section 33-802(3), Idaho Code, as amended, the Board of Trustees of Plummer-Worley Joint School District No. 44, Benewah and Kootenai Counties (the “District”), has determined there is a need for a supplemental levy in the amount of $678,468.00 each year for two years for a total amount of $1,356,936.00 for the purpose of paying all lawful expenses of maintaining and operating the District for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2026 (the “Supplemental Levy”).NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the District as follows:Section 1: That a supplemental levy election be held, and the same is hereby called to be held in the District on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the District the question set out in the form of the ballot appearing in Section 3.Section 2: That on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, said election will be conducted by the Benewah and Kootenai County Election Departments pursuant to Title 34, Idaho Code.Section 3: That the form of official ballot will be prepared by the Clerk of the Board of Trustees and will be in substantially the following form:OFFICIAL BALLOTTO AUTHORIZE AND EMPOWER THE BOARD OF TRUSTEESOF Plummer-Worley Joint School District No. 44,BENEWAH AND KOOTENAI COUNTIES, IDAHO,TO LEVY A SUPPLEMENTAL LEVYMAY 21, 2024The purpose for which the levy fund will be used, and the approximate amount of funds allocated for each purpose is as follows:PurposePortion of Levy Funds AllocatedSafety and Security Measures$17,000 – Student Technology$ 6,300 -
