This will be my first time serving as Precinct Committeeman.
What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?
This year specifically, a Precinct Committeeman’s priority is to restore much needed integrity, transparency, and accountability in the Kootenai County Republican Party. This will be achieved by determining who is endorsed in our local positions such as Community Library Network trustees and North Idaho College board of trustee members. We must preserve what makes Idaho great by electing and supporting thoughtful and respectful, community-minded representatives.
How long have you been a voter in Kootenai County?
I am 4th generation resident of Kootenai County who has voted all my life.
Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
Recently positions of community leadership have been guided by the faction within our party which has become aligned with far-right ideologies, originating outside of Idaho. It has taken control of our platform and agenda, and has led us away from our traditional Republican roots.
So therefore, regarding my qualifications, I am a concerned citizen who can offer traditional conservative Republican values. The opportunity each of us to live, work and worship in our community with neighbors, family and friends is a priority. I will represent Republicans with a conservative, common sense approach and I will protect your right to choose and vote for your candidates in every election.
