I am running for Precinct Committeeman to give you a choice in the Republican primary. For the past decade, voters have had few choices regarding representation on the KCRCC. Broader voter participation ensures a better process and gives a voice to more people in our party.

Have you ever served as a Precinct Committeeman?
No, this will be a new experience for me, but I feel that I am well suited and prepared to fulfill this role.
What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?
I think it is important for the Precinct Committeeman to thoughtfully engage in the business of the central committee which includes choosing exceptional leaders for the local committee and quality representatives to the state central committee. The Precinct Committeeman should have a sound understanding of the important issues in the community and support Republican nominees in the general elections. I think it will be very important for the Precinct Committeeman to help rebuild trust and confidence in the KCRCC by standing for traditional Republican values that have historically made this community such a desirable place to live and work.
How long have you been a voter in Kootenai County?
I have lived in Kootenai County since 1993 and have been a registered voter since moving here from Boise.
Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
My wife and I have volunteered as poll workers for the past several years which has provided us with a good understanding of the voting processes. The Kootenai County Elections office has worked hard to provide a safe and secure voting process. The citizens of Kootenai County should feel confident in the integrity of their vote. In addition, we strongly believe in and actively support quality education and youth programs in our community.
