What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?
First and foremost, I believe it's important to check your ego at the door. Working together, respectful debate and creating solutions must be for the common good, and ego has no room in this environment. If a Precinct Committeeman is a representative of the neighborhood, it is imperative this he or she remains professional and strives to be of good moral character. If you practice doing the right thing at all times, it comes naturally when put on the spot.
Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
As a native of CdA, I've loved growing up and raising my family in such a beautiful place. We must not forget however, that it's more than the mountains, lakes and rivers that make up a place; it's the people! I have been fortunate to worship, work and volunteer with many wonderful people here who have families and businesses in mind, and I hope that our children and grandchildren can experience this for generations to come. The world is changing and it's messy, but we must continue to have civil conversations with our neighbors, co-workers and family, and never forget our core values that are the common thread between each of us. I would love to represent my precinct and hope to give back to the community that has give so much to me!
