What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?
To listen, learn and make good conservative decisions on committee duties. I also think we should represent conservative republicans and gain feedback and understand the issues they face that could be helped with our role on the committee. Support the State Republican party, as well as make decisions that directly impact our community – from our involvement in our schools to supporting our Republican lawmakers.
Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
We have lived in our home on the prairie for the past 29 years. Originally from North Dakota, I grew up on a small farm and have been a republican all my life. I’ve been very active in our community, serving for 13 years on the School Board in Post Falls (very conservative board), over 17 years volunteering at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds and the Chair of the Rodeo Committee among a host of other volunteer community activities. I am currently a Vice President of Underwriting for a National Crop Insurance company and I serve on the National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Sponsor’s Board of Directors.
