Have you ever served as a Precinct Committeeman?

I was elected in 2022 as Precinct Committeewoman and have been an active volunteer for over three years. I also serve as the President of the North Idaho Pachyderm Club, a National Republican Organization with weekly meetings for our community to meet and engage in meaning discourse with local candidates and elected officials. Additionally, I was elected as Chairman of the KCRCC’s Outreach Committee, spearheading initiatives to connect with voters and advance the National Republican Committee’s Mission. I am also a proud member of both the Kootenai County Republican Women Federated and the NRA.

What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?

The most important priority is dedicating time. Our community deserves leaders who invest time to meet candidates and research potential impacts of levies, taxes, laws, and policies, and then respectfully share that information with our community by walking the precinct. I have walked our precinct every election for over three years now, including prior to being elected in 2022. I also love attending and facilitating dialogue at our monthly meetings. There is a stark contrast between liberal cities like Spokane and North Idaho’s homelessness and drug addiction, it is shaped by local & state policymakers. I am dedicated to sharing how policies wield considerable influence on our day-to-day existence.

How long have you been a voter in Kootenai County?

I spent much of my time growing up in Hayden. It instilled in me a profound sense of belonging and responsibility to give back to this community which helped shape me. Despite the challenges of relocating due to my husband's 10+ years of service in the Air Force, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to my small-town North Idaho roots. We were fortunate to move back here in 2019, North Idaho is where we always wanted to put down our roots as a family.

Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?

I became active in local politics after meeting Sheriff Bob Norris in 2018. After joining his campaign team, I have since been a dedicated volunteer at countless Republican events. Most recently, it was my great honor to organize and run our 2024 Presidential Caucus for Precinct 315. I also previously served on the St Vincent de Paul Retail Board of Directors, I was a Foster Home for Companions Animal Shelter for over 8 years, and have been an active member of our local Chambers of Commerce for over 8 years. I am AGAINST forced masking and required vaccinations. I strongly SUPPORT conservative social policies which promote traditional families, and conservative minimal budgets for city, state, and national budgets. TRUMP 2024!

Have you ever served as a Precinct Committeeman?

No

What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?

I believe the main priorities of the Precinct Committeeman are to be an informed citizen regarding local, regional, and state level matters that directly affect citizens. Be willing to listen to what the community is concerned with, lead with integrity, transparency and open communication. Represent the ideals of the Republican party, while also working with fellow Precinct Committeeman to provide input and make decisions that directly impact our community, and make recommendations for state leadership. Help to unite the Republican party within Kootenai County. Help citizens stay informed of elections, know who is running and what issues are up for vote, ensure they have every opportunity to vote, whether in person or via absentee ballot.

How long have you been a voter in Kootenai County?

I registered when I turned 18 and have been voting here for nearly 30 years.

Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?

While I have never been involved in politics, I have felt a calling to help make a difference and lead a charge for change that represents community members who have been frustrated with the lack of leadership and proper governance that are directly affecting vital community institutions. I love our community and have served for nearly two decades in a multitude of leadership capacities. I believe if we work together, have respectful and open dialogue, and seek to serve the citizens, we can make a difference and create a bright future for our community. I want to ensure common sense, traditional Republican values are reflected on the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee and that access to vote is open for all citizens.
