Have you ever served as a Precinct Committeeman?
Yes, for the past 8 years. Before being elected Precinct Committeeman I regularly attended KCRCC meetings since 2012.
I have been serving our Precinct since 1999.
I worked with neighbors to fight a Local Improvement District (LID) that would have unfairly taxed my neighbors. I helped fight against the Unified Land Use Code (ULUC) that would have adversely changed our rural zoning. I helped reorganize our local water district when several board members resigned due to mismanagement.
Two years ago when the main pump for our water district failed I volunteered to make emergency repairs and prevented a system wide failure.
What do you think are the most important priorities as a Precinct Committeeman?
Serving our community by keeping the voters informed about candidates, issues and Republican related events. Organizing and hosting Legislative Town Halls, Candidate Forums and Freedom Festivals. Encouraging voter turnout. Assisting new voters with registering and finding their polling location. Answering questions about issues and candidates. Advocating for Republican principles including protecting property rights, lower taxes, reduced regulation, preservation of our rural lifestyle, and responsive government.
How long have you been a voter in Kootenai County?
25 years in Precinct 205. I have voted in person in every election as does my wife and three children, after they turned 18. It will be 16 more years until my granddaughter can vote.

Since 2012 I have served as:
Trump Delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2016, 2020, & 2024,
Caucus Captain for the Presidential Caucus 2012 and IDGOP Caucus Planner for 2024,
Chairman of the KCRCC since 2016 &
Chairman of the IDGOP Rules Committee, Platform Committee, or Resolutions Committee at the request of the State Party Chairman.
I have attended every IDGOP State Central Committee meeting and convention since 2014, except Summer 2021 due to COVID.
In 2020 I was honored to be inducted into the IDGOP Hall of Fame as "Most Valuable Person."
