1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

To maintain Idaho's freedom. Coming from Washington State, I saw the continued erosion of life, liberty, and happiness. We need to prevent the enactment of laws, or overturn existing ones, that expose Idaho to external influences or organizations that could harm its residents or complicate their lives. It's time for the voices of the people to be heard once more. We are dealing with an excess of elected officials who are essentially under the control of others. This is unacceptable. Elected officials must not forget who they are serving. Let's return to our roots and steer our county back towards becoming the finest country in the world.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

For many years, I have been closely monitoring political developments. My service to my county spans military duty and law enforcement. I have witnessed firsthand the destructive impact of politics on communities and states. Having worked in major corporations, I have observed their significant influence. As a business owner, I have gained a deep understanding of the increasing encroachments of the government.

3. What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

Beginning with taxes, there is a pressing need to significantly curtail the government's authority to hike taxes. We persist in expending funds recklessly, elevating our debt ceilings and total debt without a viable plan for recovery. The absence of a genuine budget is glaring. The government doesn't manage finances as if it were their own personal money. This is the paradigm shift we require. We must halt special interest groups from advancing their self-serving agendas and buying off our elected officials to run with their agendas. Working with both sides, I want to start with transparency for spending and curtailing unnecessary spending. Moving funds from antiquated or out dated allocations to where we need it. No more new taxes.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy. Please explain your response.

Broadly speaking, I agree. However, this is a complex issue where shifting definitions and alternatives can alter the conclusion. The term ‘life-threatening’ could encompass mental health issues where the individual’s life may not be in immediate peril, but they perceive it to be. I would advocate for a law that is unambiguous and precise.

5. What else would you like to tell the voters?

I come from a family of Italian heritage, where the value of respecting women is instilled from an early age. I am the proud father of three daughters, for whom I hold the highest aspirations. I firmly believe that they have the potential to achieve whatever they set their minds to. My wife of 28 years has done an exceptional job as a stay-at-home mother, a role I admit I could not have fulfilled. I was fortunate to have a profession that enabled me to support her and the kids. One of our daughters has now embarked on the journey of motherhood herself. We have witnessed her challenges and how she bravely confronts them. I constantly ponder on how I can assist them in their growth and reassure her that she can do it.
