1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
I want to continue to create good policy for Idaho. Working with Education, infrastructure, public safety and drug free Idaho.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
I have served four years is the Idaho House of Representatives and two years as a Senator. Prior to being a legislator, I served as the Trial Court Administrator for the Fifth Judicial District. Working for the Idaho Supreme Court
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
Growth in Idaho is huge, and we need a managed growth system. We need to work with local governments in helping them when needed. Water resources are also a significant part of this job. Idaho is an agricultural state, and we need to protect our most precious resource.
4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.
I would work toward this goal. The criminal liability is a factor in losing good doctors to other states. Women's health care must be a priority.
5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
I work with all my constituents and believe that parental rights need to be honored at all times. I also am a firm believer in local control. I work with area agencies, and departments in making certain that my constituents have the answers they need and services that are a must. I must represent all of my constituents, not just thought that look like me.
