1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

The major thing I would like to accomplish is to ensure that everyone would be able to receive medical care. We need more doctors in our rural communities. I would work to change our very restrictive abortion law. When it comes to medical decisions they should be made by the person and their doctor not the government.

As a state whose economy is dependent on agriculture water is a major concern. Currently there are no restrictions on have many domestic wells can be drilled. We cannot continue to drill wells without a way to monitor how much water is being pumped from the acqufer. We don't have an unlimited amount of water in our acqufer.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

I believe life's experiences have prepared me to be a person who can evaluate issues and make good decisions. I have an undergraduate degree in Social Work and an advanced degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.

3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

The most significant challenge that facing Idaho is climate change. As a result of this the ability of farmers to grow crops are going to be impacted. Another major challenge is the need to produce more electricity which is not hydroelectric as it appears the amount of water for this purpose is going to be reduced.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.

I would support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women. It is not up to the government to dictate what medical procedures a person should receive. Every person be they women or men should make their own decisions about medical treatments in consultation with their physician.

5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?

I will listen to the people in my district when making decisions. Not to people who donate to me or the political party leaders.
