1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

My priorities are freedom from government overreach, fiscal responsibility, shrinking the government, protecting the unborn, keeping our guns, and school choice.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

I am the current incumbent. In that role I serve on the Joint Finance Appropriation Committee, Judiciary and Rules Committee, and Environment, Energy and Technology Committee. I spend many hours helping my constituents and researching and writing legislation to improve Idahoans' lives. Prior to serving in the Idaho House of Representatives, I served on my local school board and as a precinct committeeman. I also served on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Symphonic Band.

3. What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

Our most significant challenge is the bloated budget and the fact that over 40% of it consists of federal money. It is not sustainable, and federal dollars all come with strings attached.

Another significant challenge is the open border. We are being invaded, and that is not sustainable either.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy. Please explain your response.

When the life of the mother is at risk, everything possible should be done to save her. With the obvious exception of an ectopic pregnancy, the baby can be delivered and given support, rather than killing him or her.

5. What else would you like to tell the voters?

I work for "We the People." I am not indebted to lobbyists, bureaucrats, or anyone else. I serve the people who elected me, and it is a privilege. I look forward to continuing to serve.
