I am currently a school board member, teacher, parent of a NPSD HS student, Music Boosters secretary, and local church member.

What has inspired you to run for this office?
As I was nearing the end of my first term, I decided that I would like to continue as I have learned so much in my first three years. The district invests a lot of time and financial support for training in order to help board members be their best. I want to put my learning to use and continue to serve students, staff and the community.
What qualifications and experiences do you have that prepare you for the local Board of Education?
I have been an educator for 29 years in the roles of special education teacher, reading teacher and school counselor. I am also a parent who is involved in the education of my children.
What should be the priorities for your district? Please explain.
Our priorities should be to ensure the safety of our students, an inclusive, rigorous education that prepares students for any path they choose, and fiscal responsibility to the tax payers.
