Please describe two or three of your priorities, if elected, and how you will address those issues.
Fiscal responsibility, public safety, and economic growth are three key priorities for my campaign. Oneida County businesses are suffering due to a workforce shortage, which is particularly acute in the Minocqua area due to high real estate prices, and a lack of multi-family housing. We need to be willing to support the associated infrastructure demands — broadband, sanitary districts, appropriate zoning — that are required to encourage such developments, to keep our local economy thriving. Jointly with these efforts, we need to support local law enforcement and first responders with adequate levels of funding, as their departments continue to see considerable strain placed on available resources and staffing capabilities.
