Superior Courts are created by the LegislatureQualifications: To be eligible to run for state, legislative or local office, a person must be registered to vote in the election district the person seeks to represent. A candidate for the office of judge of a superior court must reside in the district and be admitted to the practice of law in the state upon taking office.Term Limits: 6 year terms with no term limits.Duties: The Superior Courts have original and concurrent jurisdiction in all civil cases and in all criminal cases.
