Background: What in your background and experience qualifies you to be a member of the Baltimore City Council?

I understand Baltimore City's history and how Baltimore City came to be. One must know their history if they want to lead.

Crime: What specific plans would you propose to reduce homicides, violent crime, theft and vandalism in Baltimore?

Create a new division called Community Police. The Community police would be made of recent Baltimore City high school graduates. This would create more jobs and bridge the disconnect between the police and the black community.

Education: How would you fund public education in Baltimore, while assuring the quality and ongoing structural maintenance of school buildings?

Ask residents of Baltimore city to voluntarily vote on a tax that would come directly out of their paycheck of $20 if paid weekly or $40 if paid bi-weekly. This tax would be called the school construction and maintenance. This would fund all maintenance and new schools buildings in Baltimore city

Health: What strategies do you have to address continued health disparities in Baltimore? What will you do to make sure that the Health Department has the resources it needs to serve all residents?

Expand Baltimore City Health Department funding to provide free health care services to Baltimore City residents, including in-patient care.

Climate and Environment As we face climate change and sea level rise, what would be your priorities to increase sustainable practices by the city and to increase the city’s resilience?

Issue Co2 tax on non-city registered vehicles because only 30% of Baltimore city residents own cars. This tax would be used to create a fund. The funds would be used to purchase the subway and light rail system from the state.

Housing: What strategies do you propose to remove or rehabilitate vacant buildings and provide affordable housing through the new inclusionary housing bill and other means?

Make changes to Baltimore City building charter codes to allow for more building

Council Size: What are the advantages and disadvantages of reducing the size of the City Council?

A smaller council and thus larger district mean people get less representation for constituents. A larger council and thus smaller district sizes mean diverse representation.
