This body also oversees many health care services and decides how much money public schools (from kindergartens to colleges) receive each year. If you are concerned about who pays how much in taxes and how those funds get spent, this is a very important election.

What is your top concern about K-12 education in Nebraska and what would be your solution?

My top concern for Nebraska's K-12 education is balancing quality and accessibility amidst diverse challenges. As a legislator, I will prioritize collaborative dialogue with educators and parents to address funding, property tax relief, local control, competitive compensation, and the integration of innovative technologies. Committing to civic education and ensuring equity, my approach will focus on preparing students for the future, irrespective of their background, fostering environments where every child can thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

What steps would you support to ensure access to clean water for all Nebraskans?

As a young, nonpartisan Nebraskan, I believe in following the wisdom of experts and community leaders to guarantee clean water for all. By listening to those who know our land best and ensuring everyone's voice is heard, we can find practical, effective solutions. It's about working together, respecting our traditions, and ensuring our community and environment flourish side by side.

What are the most important challenges facing our state, and how do you propose to address them?

In Nebraska, we face pivotal challenges that demand innovative solutions. Prioritizing education and workforce development is key; we must invest in our schools and align education with the evolving job market, preparing Nebraskans for future success. Healthcare accessibility remains crucial; expanding services and ensuring every Nebraskan can receive care without financial burden is a priority. Finally, fostering civic engagement and promoting nonpartisan collaboration are essential. By encouraging a participatory democracy and working across party lines, we can achieve solutions that reflect our shared values and aspirations. Together, we'll build a stronger, healthier, and more engaged Nebraska.

What are the most important challenges facing our state, and how do you propose to address them?

Shortage of healthcare workers. Promote more programs for rural Nebraska such as the UNMC Rural Health College that is being built in Kearney. Focus on retention of keeping our healthcare workers in Nebraska by being competitive with pay, affordable housing options and licensure requirements.
