They represent their district by listening to the concerns of people in their community and speaking on their behalf in Congress. U.S. Representatives vote on national issues like health care, the economy, and national security. They also work on the federal budget to decide how tax dollars are spent. Representatives serve on committees that focus on different areas like education or foreign policy. They are elected for two-year terms and there is no limit to the number of terms they can serve.

What training, experience, and characteristics qualify you for this position?

I love to work!. I work full time as a certified teacher teaching 9th grade English, and part time as a Realtor and an Insurance producer.

What actions do you support to address cost of living concerns?

I would like to work on the Economic Committee to address the rising cost of living. I will work to address corporations who aren't paying their fair share, corporate welfare, and price gouging.

What are your priorities regarding immigration policy? What specific actions would you take to address these priorities?

I would like to work on the Foreign Affairs Committee to address our immigration policies. I will work proactively in Mexico and Central America to stabilize the area and making contingency plans to divert migrant caravans.

What is the role of the federal government in establishing laws and regulations related to reproductive healthcare services including family planning, pregnancy care and post- partum services? Please explain your position.

The Federal government needs to protect women's ability to make their own health care decisions. I would like to work on the Committee on Appropriations. I will work to appropriate funds to women and families for family planning.

What measures do you support to address environmental issues and natural disasters, such as air quality, extreme weather events, drought, and flooding?

I would like to work on the Subcommittee on Environment, Manufacturing, & Critical Materials. I will work proactively with the EPA on initiatives that addresses pollution and solutions to minimize it.
