City of Plymouth Alderman District 4. Includes Wards 10 - 12. The Common Council is the legislative branch of Plymouth City government and is the forum for review and debate of proposed ordinances, resolutions, and policies proposed by the standing Council committees and boards, and commissions. The City of Plymouth Common Council has eight part-time alderpersons representing four aldermanic districts (2 alderperson per district). Each alderperson serves a two-year term. Terms are staggered so only one of the 2 positions is elected each year.
