Collin County Sheriff Choose 1

4 year term. Must be 18 years or older, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Texas, and a resident of the county. The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer for the county and is responsible for operating the county jails (including the safekeeping of inmates and operation of the jail commissary), investigating crimes, traffic enforcement, and maintaining communications with other law enforcement organizations.
