While there may be general responsibilities to being a town board member, I believe my active participation in local events and committees, my previous role in the La Crosse County board, and my familiarity with municipal operations and regulation qualifies me to continue to hold the Supervisor I position.

As a current board member, I have witnessed the challenges our township faces firsthand. Given our community’s size and limited resources, I believe our top three priorities should be: 1)Proactively seeking opportunities to address our needs, including applying for grants and fostering partnerships with neighboring municipalities. 2)Enhancing communication with Town of Medary residents to encourage participation and feedback, ensuring our efforts align with community priorities. 3)Preserving our township’s rural character through thoughtful planning, including road maintenance, strategic development, and responsible land use management.

I believe we are well-equipped to take on these priorities. Our town leadership should be proactive in identifying opportunities, engaging the community both in person and online, and seeing plans through to completion. As a committed leader, I will work on these priorities by continuing to represent our township, bringing back valuable insights, and contributing ideas to address our challenges. I also look forward to continuing to lead our planning commission efforts and advancing the goals we’ve set for the future.
