What is the most important issue facing Eau Claire County and how would you address it?
I believe that the most important issue facing Eau Claire, and our country, is protecting our Democracy and protecting our voting rights.
I plan to work together with the representatives of the County Board to support this issue.
What is the second most important issue facing Eau Claire County and how would you address it?
The collapse of a significant part of our healthcare system leaves many without jobs, and so many without medical services that cannot be easily replaced. This is a major loss for our community that deserves consistent care and attention.
I plan to work together with the representatives of the County Board to find solutions that can make us whole and strong again.
What is the third most important issue facing Eau Claire County and how would you address it?
I am particularly concerned for the impending needs of our aging population. There are limited resources for care and a limited number of caregivers at a time when there will be increasing demand.
I plan to work together with the representatives of the County Board to support these issues.
What are your two top priority areas of concern in the upcoming budget and how would you address them?
There are so many important areas of concern, but particularly in light of the recent health care collapse, making sure that the DHS and the County Health Department have what they need to care for the health and mental health of our youth is paramount
