What skills and experiences qualify you to serve as a County Commissioner?
My years of service as an elected official show my dedication to serving the residents of Montgomery County. As Commissioner, I have been a diligent steward of the taxpayers' dollars. Additionally, I sit on several local boards, as well as the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board (Opioid Settlement money) as Director for Region 8. As Commissioner, I will continue to be a good listener, open to new ideas and willing to work with others. I will continue to use oversight to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
What challenges do you see in serving a diverse body of constituents and how would you address them?
As a Commissioner, I will keep working towards an economic environment that facilitates business development, and encourages the workforce to support it. Through the micro-enterprise grants I will continue to support small business. I will proceed to have conversations to see what the needs are, which is often Workforce. In the workforce space, I will continue to promote the Employment Opportunity Center where constituents can prepare for job readiness.
