1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
We’ve accomplished a lot the last couple sessions. However, we still have a lot to do to keep Idaho, Idaho!
I’d like to address the mental health of Idaho students regarding cell phone use and how cell phones affect the minds of our youth. Currently, I’m researching cell phone free schools. Other states have addressed this issue and I’m interested to see how we might accomplish this in Idaho. Also, I’m working on a bill that will require the State to review the tax exempt status of tax exempt entities.
Most importantly, I will continue to seek ways to keep our communities safe by supporting our first responders. Also, I will always find solutions to save Idahoans money by lowering taxes.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
Public service through community involvement has always been important to me. It’s been an honor to serve in the Idaho State Senate representing District 21 in Meridian. I’ve definitely learned a lot. I was elected by my peers in the Idaho Senate Republican Caucus to serve on the Legislative Council. My committee appointments certainly have provided me important experience. Serving as Vice Chair on Senate State Affairs and serving on the Local Government and Taxation Committee have provided me invaluable experience that will help me better serve my constituents in District 21.
Before I was elected to the Senate, I was also elected twice to the Meridian City Council. While on Council, I served as Council President for 2 years.
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
I believe that it will be the challenges we face in Idaho regarding growth. Namely infrastructure, both hard and soft. Hard infrastructure regarding our roads, bridges, school facilities and water systems. Both domestic and agricultural. Soft infrastructure regarding our schools. It’s no secret that we really need good teachers to help develop our students.
With growth also comes challenges with our qualified work force and jobs. This is why I support Career Technical Education. CTE is one of the most important ways we can help prepare students for post-graduation. As we prepare our students with the skills they need to be successful, the better off we will be in Idaho.
4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.
Depends on the legislation and what the legislation says. The devil is always in the details. I recently received the endorsement from Idaho Choses Life. So, it’s no secret that I’m pro life. With that said, women’s health is critically important and we need to have continued discussions regarding this delicate and important topic.
5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
It’s been an honor to serve my constituents in the Idaho State Senate. I still have to pinch myself to make sure that I’m not in a dream! Thank you so much for this opportunity to serve.
I will continue to be the most assessable legislator at the Capitol. God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listening to my constituents has always been a high priority to me. As I knock doors throughout District 21, I hear time and time again that we need to keep Idaho, Idaho. We’re truly blessed to live in the greatest state in America. I ask for your vote again on May 21st.

1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
My candidacy is focused on individual rights, property rights, and bodily sovereignty by advocating for a range of measures: eliminating taxes on owner-occupied homes, eliminating the sales tax, decriminalizing abortion, de-listing cannabis, limiting executive powers, ending occupational licensing for non-life-threatening jobs, abolishing qualified immunity and eminent domain, banning no-knock warrants and civil asset forfeiture, nullifying federal gun laws, preemptively banning red flag laws, repealing "right to work" legislation, passing defend the guard laws, safeguarding state-owned land from disposal without public consent, and repealing the income tax.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
As a political outsider and blue-collar worker, I offer a unique perspective untainted by the bureaucracy of elected office. I've experienced the hardships of the socio-economic scale and firsthand the stifling effects of government overregulation. My background ensures policies grounded in real-world experience, prioritizing the needs of ordinary citizens over political interests.
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
There are many but chief amongst them are the states eagerness to meddle with and dictate the social and moral alignment of the people, the willingness of government to use force and threats of violence and financial ruin for disobedience and the insistence on imposing a narrow and particular morality on a culturally, religiously and ethnically diverse people who have historically enjoyed relatively good relationships amongst each other.
4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.
Yes. Idaho has long been a “choose life” people. Even when abortion was legal, it was much less common here than many other states. Having such a restrictive law with such severe penalties does not promote or encourage that “choose life” attitude. I don’t believe abortion is a good thing but I also understand that sometimes it is a necessary choice. With a less restrictive and viciously punitive and subjective law I believe that we would still be predominantly be a choose life people in Idaho.
5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
Government should concern itself with a very narrow set of mandates; the protection of life, liberty and property. Government shouldn’t be the mechanism to deprive people of those and it shouldn’t have enough power to be enticing to those who would use it as a tool to enforce their will on their neighbors.
Morality enforced under threats of violence is mere obedience borne of fear, it is by no measure morality. There is no righteousness in a society without the option of unrighteousness.
