1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

I hope to bring a new and fresh perspective to the house. I hope to serve the people in a way that everyone feels heard and seem. I hope to have deep and meaningful conversations with the people who help get me elected. And to learn from the experts on matters that I may not have learned about. It is important to be effective, forthcoming, and informed. I want to be the voice of the people.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

I have owned my hair salon for over 30 years. I have trained over 25 salon owners. I started the Boise Soul food festival out of a need in our community. I also started a nonprofit called Brown Like Me, BLM is a mentorship program that gives families a place of belonging. I am vice president of Boise parks and recreation. I am a space maker. I listen to the needs of the people I fine a way to better serve them. Find the resources or provide them.

3. What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

Diversity at the table. I am a women and I am black. One of the challenges is, we need new voices . While keeping all the beauty that makes Idaho a beautiful place to live.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy. Please explain your response.

Yes I believe a woman should be in control of the body she lives in. No one should have more say so than a Physician and their patient.

5. What else would you like to tell the voters?

I will work tirelessly to be a voice for the people!

1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

I hope to promote equality for all the citizens of district 15. That means providing a voice for ALL.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

Over 20 years of public experience all over the world. Five years working with local non-profit organizations in leadership roles. Ten years as a small business owner in the community.

3. What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

The most significant issue is smart growth. Smart growth includes so many of the concerns of our state, Infrastructure, housing, education, healthcare.

YES! This conversation belongs to two people, the doctor and her. We have lost 22% of our obstetricians because of ridiculous trigger laws like the one Idaho supports.

5. What else would you like to tell the voters?

My platform is focused on transparency and a voice for all. I am not an agenda driven candidate. There are numerous issues that impact people directly and indirectly daily. We need a representative who will work for all the people and that means all the issues.
