1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
Canyon County has experienced immense growth, but we haven't effectively accommodated this growth. If elected, my goal is to alleviate the economic pressures that are robbing Idaho families of their hard-earned money. With inflation up nearly 25% over the past four years, along with high interest rates and volatile markets, it’s time for a change. I will work to cut taxes, focusing on relief for seniors and low-income families. As property values and taxes rise, I commit to redirecting those funds towards smart infrastructure, facilities, and services that support our growth in a sustainable way, while protecting our agricultural land.
I will work to bring positivity and respect back to government service.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
I was raised in a conservative community and have always valued hard work, compassion, and freedom. As a mother of two, I see the importance of protective policies and a strong educational system with choices for parents. My career in technology and event management took me across the country, where I worked with government agencies and saw their inefficiencies first-hand. These experiences motivated me to improve how our government works. With nearly 20 years in the private sector managing budgets and teams, I've learned to run operations effectively. I aim to bring these skills to this office to reduce government waste and increase efficiency.
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
One of the most significant challenges Idaho faces is public safety, specifically keeping fentanyl out of our communities. Recently, I spent a lot of time in the Seattle area for work, where I personally witnessed store robberies, called 911 for someone I thought was dead on the side of the road, and had a colleague told by 911 dispatch, 'We do not service that area anymore,' when rioters set fire to the first floor of her apartment building. The homeless population, the majority of whom are prisoners to their fentanyl addictions, has taken over the city, and the police are not supported. I will work to ensure this never happens to any city in Idaho.
4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.
Yes. I am pro-life - pro-life of the baby and pro-life of the mother. In life-threatening situations, medical professionals and pregnant women should be able to make critical decisions without facing criminal charges.

If elected, I will serve our community with dedication and integrity. I am committed to working tirelessly, with respect and care for everyone's views, opinions, and priorities. Growing up in Idaho has given me a deep appreciation for our community culture and beautiful environment. I am determined to preserve this legacy for future generations, including my own children. Your trust in me would be an honor, and I am eager to uphold our community’s values and ensure its prosperity.

1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
Idaho remains one of the fastest growing states in the nation. Housing costs have gone up at a much faster rate than wages resulting in a housing crisis. Our highways and freeways have suffered decades of neglect, and funding for public transportation remains well under that of similarly-sized metro areas. Idaho's dwindling farmland and water resources need protection. The new education infrastructure bill fails to help fast-growing districts like Vallivue with the money they need to build new schools. The legislature is ignoring Idaho's real problems and instead spends our tax dollars bickering about faith-based issues. I will fight to prioritize the real issues facing Idahoans.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
I grew up here in Caldwell with my family and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. I love Idaho and am dedicated to keeping it a great place to raise a family. I worked in the high-tech industry for over a decade as a project manager and while earning a PhD from the University of Washington's College of Engineering I taught college courses and worked as a researcher.
Most importantly, I have knocked on well over 5000 doors right here in Caldwell in an effort to understand the issues the people of this district are facing. And I have watched our legislators prioritize their own personal beliefs and faith over the real needs of their constituents (housing, education, transportation, farmland and water conservation).
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
There is a nationwide movement to make the billions of dollars that states spend locally on education every year available to national and international companies. This effort has been going on for decades, is well funded by people who stand to make a lot of money, and is most recently marketed as "school choice." At the same time, Idaho's public schools have been underfunded and neglected for decades by our legislature.
Other states who have privatized education report low educational outcomes and hundreds of cases of corruption caused by the loss of transparency.
I will fight to strengthen our public schools and I will fight against the big-money push to privatize our schools and divert local tax dollars out of state.
4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.
Like the majority of Idahoans, I support legislation that would remove the criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women who experience complications.
Idaho's current abortion laws are part of a raft of bills that force the strict religious beliefs of some legislators onto the entire state. Regardless of how strongly we feel about our religious faiths, we have no right to force our beliefs on our constituents through legislation.
Paradoxically, many of these laws are proposed by those who claim they are fighting for freedom, when in fact they are fighting for a religiously restrictive society controlled tightly by a righteous few.
5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
Right now, many Idahoans are struggling to make ends meet. Housing costs have gone up 118% over the last five years, the highest increase in the nation. Rents have skyrocketed. This year the legislature passed a law weakening protections for renters, cut a federally funded program that provides lunches to kids over the summer, and failed to prioritize issues relating to growth.
Our legislature claims there is nothing they can do about the problems arising from growth - don't believe them. They have made a deliberate choice to ignore the real issues Idahoans face.

When re-elected, I want to work on illegal immigration, repeal grocery tax, improve education performance in schools.
2. What experience has prepared you for this office?
I am retired USMC, I have been involved in politics since 2018. I have been a precinct committeeman for 4 years and a senator for 2.
3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?
Government size and spending and illegal immigration. Cost of housing is a big issue as well.

I support legislation to protect a women’s life during a life threatening pregnancy.
5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?
Grocery tax repeal needs to become a reality. We should not be charged a tax for necessary items. Illegal immigration costs the state $405 million a year and increases crime. The Federal Government has failed to protect this country’s borders and has made a problem for states. Idaho needs to enforce laws against illegal immigration.
