1. What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

If re-elected, I intend to continue to uphold the Constitution of the State of Idaho and the U.S. Constitution, protecting Idahoans' God given individual rights. During my time in the legislature, I have never voted to raise taxes, and have consistently voted to reduce the income and property tax burden while fulfilling the State of Idaho's responsibility to its citizens.

2. What experience has prepared you for this office?

In addition to my military service, I served one term in the Idaho House of Representatives and am completing my first term in the Idaho Senate. As a Representative, I served on the Revenue and Taxation committee, Energy and environment committee, and business committee. As a Senator, I serve on the Local Government and Taxation committee, Joint Finance and Appropriations committee, and as the vice chairman of the Resources and environment committee.

I am a homeowner raising young children in Nampa, and have a vested interest in the future of our state.

3 What do you see as the most significant challenges Idaho faces that you might be able to address in this position?

Idaho, especially the treasure valley, has been discovered. Ensuring responsible growth while maintaining our agricultural roots will be critical in the years ahead. As we continue to grow, it is imperative that conservative values in Idaho are maintained and promoted in the public sphere. Fiscal responsibility and promoting a healthy, diverse business environment will be a priority for me in the upcoming session.

4. Would you support legislation to remove criminal liability for physicians and pregnant women experiencing life threatening pregnancy complications and allow for medical and family decisions regarding continuation of that pregnancy? Please explain your response.

I am an outspoken pro-life advocate. Our laws in Idaho were carefully designed to eliminate unnecessary abortions. I proudly support the Defense of Life Act found in section 18 Idaho code.

5. Is there anything else you would like to tell the voters?

For the last four years I have had the honor of representing the people of Nampa in the Idaho Legislature.

Iā€™m a proud home school graduate of Idaho, and had the pleasure to coach football in the Nampa School District (2015). Prior to that, I served our country in the United States Marine Corps, serving two combat tours in Afghanistan and one Marine expeditionary deployment as part of a battalion landing team.

Since leaving the military, I have focused on advocacy for veterans, especially veterans suffering with PTSD, and have worked in the construction and public relations fields.

Serving the people of Nampa has been a blessing, and I ask for your continued support in the May 21st Republican primary.
