United States House Representative, Seventh District Choose 1

The U.S. House of Representatives is one of Congress’s two chambers (the other is the U.S. Senate), and part of the federal government’s legislative branch. Among other duties, representatives introduce bills and resolutions, offer amendments, and serve on committees. The House has several powers assigned exclusively to it, including the power to initiate revenue bills, impeach federal officials, and elect the President in the case of an Electoral College tie.

What are the top three legislative priorities you believe Congress should address in the upcoming term?

1) Enforce immigration laws. Make legal immigration faster, easier and more efficient. Eliminate illegal immigration to the highest extent possible. 2) Fix the economy. Reign in unnecessary and duplicate spending, reduce onerous regulations on businesses, revamp the tax system. 3) Fix our deteriorating military. Eliminate quotas and DEI, improve pay, increase opportunities for enlisted personnel.

Briefly, in 200 characters or less, what is your position on each of the following issues?

No question.

Immigration Policy

Simple. Legal immigration good, illegal immigration bad. Legal immigration should be quicker and easier for well-vetted individuals. Asylum should be reserved for those truly in danger.

Gun Safety Legislation & Gun Rights

Enforce gun laws on the books. Focus on the lawbreakers, not the vast majority of gun owners who are responsible citizens. You commit a crime with a gun, you go to jail. Period.

Health Care & Women's Reproductive Care

Government regulations stifle the insurance industry. Allow portability from job to job, allow insurance companies to sell the same policy state to state. Bigger pools of participants lower costs.

High Cost of Living & Depressed Wages

Government regulation is the biggest enemy of business and workers. Higher minimum wage laws force businesses to eliminate jobs. Trucking regulations, outdated import laws, etc., create higher prices.

Climate Change

The United States is the leader when it comes to being good stewards of the environment. Emphasis should be on encouraging other countries to follow our lead rather than punishing US companies.

What actions should be taken by Congress, if any, to protect and/or expand voting rights and improve the health of our democracy?

Single day, 24 hour voting period, national day off, photo ID required for all, paper ballots, receipt for your vote, all elections, automatically rechecked for accurate count.

What role should the federal government play in promoting social and racial justice at the local level?

Outside of enforcing Constitutional guarantees for all, none.

What do you see as the nation’s most important foreign policy issues, and how will you address them as a member of Congress?

We need to regain our status as a model for others. America first isn't just a slogan. it should be a necessity. We should be a destination for immigrants not for the free stuff we hand out, but for the opportunity we represent. Congress needs to see that current immigration laws are followed, and they need to reign in the President when it comes to foreign affairs, particularly militarily. Congress has forgotten they are equal with the President. Foreign aid for anybody who asks needs to stop.

What are the top three legislative priorities you believe Congress should address in the upcoming term?

Only three?!!!! There are so many that need to be addressed. Top priority would be the border and the illegal immigrant invasion. Shut it down. Second would be the out of control spending and give aways to foreign countries--let them support their own war. Thirdly, the economy, the economy, the economy.

Briefly, in 200 characters or less, what is your position on each of the following issues?

Candidate has not yet responded.

Immigration Policy

Build the wall. Round up all illegal immagrants and send them home. Look for, and find, the lost children and women who have been trafficked by the cartel. Provide them Healthcare.

Gun Safety Legislation & Gun Rights

The Second Ammendment shall not be infringed upon- Instead, arrest, prosecute, and imprison criminals. Take the guns out of the hands of criminals, by taking the criminal hands away from the guns.

Health Care & Women's Reproductive Care

Health care is an educational process. Preventative care is not taught, just after the fact treatment care is. It's time to take a stand for healthy living NOW, and not big pharma living.

High Cost of Living & Depressed Wages

The economy we have today was made by the people in 2020 at the ballot box. You want different results, vote for different people. Stop the legacy lunacy and vote in fresh faces.

Climate Change

Doesn't really exist. It's been made up to produce fear to control the public into believing hype so people won't question the stupidity of EV vehilces and shutting down our pipelines.

What actions should be taken by Congress, if any, to protect and/or expand voting rights and improve the health of our democracy?

First, we are not a Democracy, we are a Republic. Secondly, the people need to protect their own Rights and Not expect their government to do everything for them. That dependency has deminished our rights. We have gotten lazy. Now is the Time to Fight for what we have... Before they are gone.

What role should the federal government play in promoting social and racial justice at the local level?

Social and Racial are terms that have been crafted by our government to use against us and divide us. Everyone is SPECIAL! The only true privilege that exist is for the rich and powerful. If you aren't one of them, then you're a potential tool to be used by one of those terms. Start thinking like an American... And be an American.

What do you see as the nation’s most important foreign policy issues, and how will you address them as a member of Congress?

First, get rid of the UN and kick their collective butts to the curb. It has become an enemy of the state and is destroying our country... China is controlling it. Secondly, put NATO on notice, and a short leash, with the promise of severing the leash if NATO nations don't start to work toward peace instead of war mongering--get out of the Ukraine war. Note: one member of Congress has no such power. If the people want real change, they have to vote in new people who do. Period
