What are the top three legislative priorities you believe the Indiana General Assembly should address in the upcoming session?

Safe access to women's health care. We need to protect a woman's right to make choices. I am for safety, it's not the government's pregnancy it's not the government's baby

Education. We need to Make sure the laws that are created aren't a detriment to the teachers ability to do their job. We need more focus on actually educating our kids and not waste valuable legislative time on what kids choose to be their name. Let kids be kids, and give them a safe productive environment to learn.

LGBTQ IA+ rights .

We need to protect all populations anti-discrimination housing laws. Protection from bullies in school and workplaces. We need to make it easier for second parent adoptions when IVF is used.

What do you see as the unique opportunities and challenges facing Marion County and how will you work to address them? How will those efforts impact the broader Central Indiana region and/or the rest of the state?

We need to address the problem with food deserts, transportation issues, and safe, affordable housing.

What should the state government do to provide an equitable, quality education for all children pre-K through grade 12?

Lunches should be included for every child attending school. When a child is hungry, they are less attentive and more disruptive to the class.

What measures would you propose to increase voter engagement and access in our state?

Having the polls open only 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on election day is voter suppression. We need more early voting centers. There are many days at FedEx when I work 12-hour days and it was always difficult for me to get to vote on election day. Early voting only has limited places open. Long lines discourage people from voting, especially when having to wait outside for hours in cold weather. We should have a mail-in voting option.

I believe environmental legislation in response to climate change is necessary.
