Personal Biography Born in Nanjing China and was adopted in the 1990s, 8-year Marine Corps Veteran, publishing Memoir author, wife, and mother of 2 (soon to be 3). Resident of Spring Hill for 4 years, resident of Kansas for 20+ years (Overland Park, Merriam, De Soto).
Education Bachelors in Accounting, Masters in Business Administration (MBA), pursuing a PhD in Higher Education
Community/Public Service Currently on the Dayton Creek Elementary School PTO as Treasurer and was the Administrator for the All of Us Research Program-Heartland Consortium (AoURP-HC) Participant/Community Advisory Board (PCAB) with the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC).

What would be your top three priorities if elected?

1.) Focus on unique approaches to budgeting strategies, financial analysis, and funding opportunities to maximize efforts while minimizing financial pressure on the community in this present and future fluctuating economy.

2.) Creating resources and enhancing our specials programs to ensure all children and staff are receiving the highest level of assistance to support their educational growth.

3.) Continuing improvements for teachers, staff, students, and family experiences by partnering with local/state delegation and neighboring cities in an effort to continue building the quality of education and life for all who are part of our growing community.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Possess a diverse background in educational & lived experiences, leading to open and effective knowledge sharing to continue positive efforts towards a stronger community.

Understanding the importance of primary education on our youth by investing in their futures.

Belief that our children are the future generations by providing the highest level of resources, programs, & curriculum to be successful members of society.

Dedication towards the conception that education is a right, not a privilege. Our children deserve all that we can possibly offer by equipping a sound foundation educationally, socially, and economically.

Innovative philosophy of changing the narrative. Preparing the world for children vs. our children for the world.
