Personal Biography I’m not a politician, I’m a dad of two public school students, a military veteran, a business owner and a community volunteer. As a scout leader and engineer, I’ve led teams, solved tough problems, and served with discipline and integrity.
Education Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and now a Licensed Professional Engineer
Community/Public Service I am a coach, boy scout leader and founded an inspection trade school.

What would be your top three priorities if elected?

-Students Success -Community Engagement -Fiscal Responsibility

Ensure the more vulnerable students are heard and appreciated and be mindful of the home environment may be affecting their behavior.

Bring the community issues to the table. Make sure that voices are heard. I’ll be a board member who listens, collaborates, and leads with integrity.

As a school board member, I’ll push for smart budgeting, clear financial reporting, and real accountability—so we can support students without raising taxes.

Personal Biography Calley is a proud mom of two boys in USD 232 and a lifelong Kansas Citian. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, her work has focused on hospice, home health care, care for atomic and nuclear bomb veterans, and most recently, brain injury rehabilitation. She is a fierce advocate for public education and for individuals with disabilities, driven by a deep passion for public service. Outside of her professional life, Calley enjoys cooking, The Chiefs, and Taylor Swift.

What would be your top three priorities if elected?

Continue to provide consistent raises for teachers and staff while focusing on recruitment and retention of top tier educators. Maintain and elevate our ranking as #2 district in Kansas Expand Real World Learning and STEM partnerships.

What skills, expertise, experience, or competencies qualify you for this position?

For the past four years, I’ve had the honor of representing our community as a dedicated mom of two students in USD 232, the proud daughter of a public school teacher, and a passionate advocate for public education. With a professional background in healthcare advocacy and administration, I bring both personal and professional experience to the table, working every day to ensure our schools and families have the support they deserve.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

I believe the core responsibilities of someone elected to this office is ensuring the success of all students. I also think being a good steward of public funds, ensuring academic excellence, and supporting the teachers and staff who make our schools thrive. It’s also critical to actively listen to both families and employees, serving as an open and honest line of communication. Building and maintaining strong relationships within the district and the broader community is essential, as is simply showing up, being present, engaged, and committed to our community.
