Lucy is running for the USD 232 School Board to continue building on the district’s tradition of excellence. She is committed to supporting teachers and staff, strengthening communication with families, and expanding opportunities so that every student can thrive. Rooted in the community and ready to serve, Lucy is dedicated to ensuring that USD 232 remains a place where all students succeed.

What would be your top three priorities if elected?
Teacher pay, special education, and teacher retention
What skills, expertise, experience, or competencies qualify you for this position?
As a De Soto graduate, I care very deeply about the school community. I have a pulse on the climate as a parent of a current elementary school student. I’m a mom of a child with dyslexia and dysgraphia so advocating for special education is close to my heart.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
Continue the excellence of the district and give back to the community that gave me so much and continues for my children.
