Education Bachelors in Secondary Education with emphasis on Special Education
Community/Public Service I've served as a flag football coach for the last several years and volunteer in the children's ministry on Sunday's at our church

What would be your top three priorities if elected?

1. Continue to build and foster positive relationships between the district and the community 2.Work to ensure equity for all students in our district 3. Ensure the district attracts and retains exceptional educators and support staff

What skills, expertise, experience, or competencies qualify you for this position?

I began my career as a high school special education teacher and experienced first-hand the diversity within the school system. I've seen marginalized students give up and drop out and I've seen students who received the support they needed, flourish. I've also managed member-owned country clubs and participated in board meetings and therefore have a clear understanding of board dynamics. I have worked with both high functioning, effective Boards as well as the opposite.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

The students in our schools. Period.
