Personal Biography Graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1999. Attorney for 26 years. My family built a house in Ward 3 in 1993 and I've lived in Waterford for 11 years.

Community/Public Service President, Waterford Homes Association, 2 years; board member, 3 years. Board member--Jewish Community Center - 4 yrs; Vice-Chair, Leadership Development - 2 yrs. Worked w/Leawood’s Planning & Public Works departments for 4-yrs to implement traffic calming on 132nd Street & High Drive. Member of Leawood’s Gezer Sister City Committee, appointed 2024. Participated in Mayor's HOA Leadership Summit, 2024-25. Attended Leawood Police Department’s Citizens Academy - 2025.

What do you believe are the three critical projects or initiatives that will move your city/district forward?

Improve traffic safety with additional traffic calming projects in the city; improve cell coverage in areas with limited service; hold developers to the highest standards for quality projects with architectural interest.

What skills, expertise, experience, or competencies qualify you for this position?

Experience as an attorney with extensive community service involvement. Parent of a son who attends Blue Valley North High School. I enjoy tackling problems and finding workable solutions for all involved.

What makes this office an important part of the local government?

The city council is integral to the quality of life for all Leawood residents. Leawood is a beautiful city with ample green space and parks that we all cherish. I want to help make improvements that positively impact residents. We need council members who enjoy working with residents and who listen to their concerns with an eye towards problem solving.
